Located adjacent to Granite Creek Park, Prescott’s splash pad opened on May 28. It features a mini geyser and water features and is open to the public from dawn to dusk. Guests can also enjoy the shaded picnic area and concession stand.
This splash pad is part of the $1 million City project to revitalize the Granite Creek Corridor. It features a train depot theme, sprayers, and a massive water tower. It is also located near large grassy areas, which make it an ideal location for picnics.
The park also features the Granite Creek Trail System, which connects with the A.C. Williams Granite Creek Park. Approximately 1.5 miles of multi-use trails surround the park. The trail starts at Grove & Lincoln and continues northeast under the Laguardia Bridge and Montezuma Street. Carlton Street is just west of Montezuma Street and is adjacent to Mile High Middle School.
